Winger has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool

Crystal Palace are hoping Yannick Bolasie will snub a move away from the club and sign a contract extension.

The pacy winger has been strongly linked with a move away from Selhurst Park this summer, and with Bakary Sako arriving, speculation mounted that Bolasie‘s future could be elsewhere.

Interest in Bolasie

Spurs and Liverpool have been admirers of Bolasie since January, but after arriving at the club, Alan Pardew slapped a massive price-tag on his head fending off any potential interest.

The Congolese international didn’t actually feature for The Eagles in their opening Premier League game on Saturday, sparking more speculation about his future, but according to reports, officials at the club are confident he will sign a contract extension rather than leave the club.

Bolasie’s current deal expires next summer, meaning he could be available for cheap before the deadline shuts, but Pardew is confident that he can keep the star at the club.

Pardew Confident

“I am pretty confident of keeping him,” Pardew told Standard Sport.

“He is a player that isn’t quite polished — you only need to see him to see that. But I cannot see anyone paying an excess of ÂŁ25million because that’s what they are going to need to get him out. So, if they want to we will talk.

“We have had no bids for him. None.

“Not one phone call for Yannick Bolasie so it is actually not true at all.”
