Manchester United’s pursuit of Dani Alves looks to have been made easier, as Barcelona look set to sign Porto’s Danilo as replacement.
According to reports, Alves has been in talks with United over a £100,000 per week contract.
Danilo however, has a £37 million release clause, but Porto could be willing to let him go for less.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with the 23 year old full back, but Barcelona are confident in signing him, despite their current transfer embargo running until January 2016.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo say Danilo is one of four players the Catalan giants are targeting to sign next January.
Danilo has in fact replaced Dani Alves in the Brazil national team, as Barcelona look to freshen up their right back position.
