Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria looks set to snub a move to the Premier League in order to join French side AS Monaco.
The Argentinian has been heavily watched in recent months by the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, but at the time, they were told no by Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti as he wanted to keep the tricky winger at the club.
In fact, at the time, Ancelotti chose to keep Di Maria instead of Mesut Ozil, and that is why he eventually left and joined The Gunners on transfer deadline day
However, it is believed in Spain that the Madrid star is growing more and more frustrated with the lack of first-team opportunities due to the competition with Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to Spanish paper El Confidencial, Di Maria has asked his agent to start negotiating a move away from the Bernabeu and it is believed that talks with Monaco are well underway.
