The Argentina international has been given permission by Real Madrid to leave in the summer and this has generated much interested from United, who are trying to sign him.
French giants PSG are also in the mix to sign the winger and Spanish radio station Cope claims he is to decided whether to join United or PSG within the next few hours.
United will be confident of securing the deal however it has emerged that PSG have already started selling Di Maria shirts in the official club shop in the expectation that he’ll choose the French side.
A move to either club is thought ot be worth around £40m, although PSG’s offer is a loan switch the possibility of a permanent transfer next summer.
Di Maria is expected to explain the decision on Spanish TV once he has decided.
