Chelsea striker refuses to rule out return
Chelsea star Diego Costa has refused to rule out a possible return to Atletico Madrid.
The Spaniard left the La Liga side two years ago and despite having an effective debut season in the Premier League, he does still think about his former-club.
Costa was an instant hit with the Stamford Bridge faithful, scoring over 20-goals in all competitions, but according to reports, his relationship with Jose Mourinho has turned frosty.
Mourinho is reportedly unhappy with Costa’s fitness levels and is always feeling concerned about his ongoing issue with his hamstrings.
There was speculation of a return to Atletico this summer, following Filipe Luis who already completed the move back to La Liga.
Costa Discusses Return
Speaking to Spanish newspaper AS, Costa was asked about a possible return to the capital, and his response was: “How am I supposed to go back to Atleti if no one’s made me an offer.”
