Midfielder could leave Chelsea for Bundesliga
Borussia Dortmund are targeting a £20 million move for unhappy Chelsea midfielder Ramires, who has struggled for game time under Guus Hiddink.
The 28-year-old was popular under the leadership of former boss Jose Mourinho, but has made just two appearances under interim boss Guus Hiddink and 28 minutes in the Premier League.
Dortmund are unsure whether they will be able to stop midfield duo Ilkay Gundogan and Julian Weigl being linked to Premier League moves, with the former being lined up with a switch to the Reds by former BVB boss Jurgen Klopp.
Therefore, Ramires has been identified as a good value replacement if either or both of their midfield players leave the Westfalenstadion.
BVB have enquired about the availability of Ramires, who has been at Stamford Bridge for six years, and the Brazilian is prepared to move on from the club which currently finds itself 14th in the Premier League.
Serie A side Juventus have also taken an interest in the Brazilian who recently signed a new deal which will keep him in west London until 2019.
Ramires is sick of being the back-up option in the Chelsea midfield and if Dortmund were to lose two of their key men in the middle of the park, the Brazilian looks their firm favourite to become their replacement.
