The forward has said he wouldn’t mind a move to PSG or Chelsea

Douglas Costa has admitted that it would be a ‘pleasure’ to play for French side PSG.

The Ligue 1 side and Chelsea have both shown an interest in the forward over the past few months and both teams look likely to make bids for him in summer. Mourinho wanted him back in January as a replacement for Andre Schurrle but no deal materialised.

£20m asking price

The fee that Shakhtar Donetsk are believed to want for Costa is around £20m. As to which of the two clubs he would rather move to, Costa had this to say:

“I like PSG a lot. They have become an enormous club and it would be a pleasure to wear that shirt.”

So it seems he may be favouring a move to France now but the forward has previously said he wouldn’t mind a move to Chelsea, claiming: “I want to play for Chelsea not just because my friend Willian plays there, but also because it’s the team coached by a great coach like Mourinho.

“With them I can achieve maximum height. I am now 24, and it is a mistake to try to persuade me to stay.”

Where will Costa end up? Will he be plying his trade for Chelsea next season or PSG?
