Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman is expected to complete a season-long loan deal to Schalke 04.
The Ghana international has been training with the Bundesliga club this week as the transfer edges closer.
Rahman signed a five-year contract at Chelsea last summer after the club agreed a fee with Augsburg.
However, first team appearances were limited for Rahman during the 2015/16 Premier League campaign.
The 22-year old played back-up to the Blues’ first choice left full-back Cesar Azpilicueta.
