European transfer round up deadline day!

What are the deadline day deals today? What are the hottest deals on the line?

Let us analyse the top clubs in the European market. Some clubs like Inter Milan have struck gold while giants like FC Barcelona have crashed.

So who have done really well?

The Winners:

Inter Milan: The Italian side signed Victor Moses and Ashley Young for below $8 million pounds and added Christian Eriksen for $20 million. It is brilliant business for a team who are on the verge of competing for the big competitions. They quietly and quickly went about their business and got their manager exactly what he wanted.

The so-so doers:

Manchester United: All January Manchester United repeatedly made their headlines with the Bruno Fernandes transfer saga. Well now it seems it was worth the wait as they have carved out a pretty impressive deal which includes a straight up payment of $63 million and the rest in performance related add-ons. On the other hand, it took them all month and with Rashford now injured, they are likely to be left without a back up.

The losers:

While most clubs have found it tough to do business in January, none have capitulated like Barcelona. They are so desperate that they bid $130 million for Everton’s Richarlison and what is worse is that it has been rejected. They cannot offload their overpriced players, they are economically broke and need big players in almost every major department.

Other News:

Chelsea are looking to sign Dries Mertens which also will interestingly decide the fate of Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal have wrapped up the signing of Pablo Mari and are close to a deal for Cedric Soares.

Liverpool have moved out of the market after picking up Minamino early in the month.

Tottenham replaced Eriksen with Le Celso and Steven Bergwijn.

AC Milan have sold Piatek to Hertha Berlin.
