Harry Kane will eventually join Manchester City in the summer.
The 27-year old striker has expressed his desire to make a move away from Spurs in order to win silverware in his illustrious career.
The North London club has not won a trophy since 2008 and an exit for the England captain seems more likely.
According to the Telegraph, Kane’s international teammates believe he would miss pre-season training in order to facilitate a move to the Etihad.
Recently new manager Nuno Espirito Santo has expressed that he expects Kane to be at the North London club in the upcoming season.
“All the conversations that we had, all the squad are available, and we have a lot of good players, I can count on. And I’m counting on each and every one of them”, Nuno said in his first press conference as Tottenham manager.
“I had a lot of meetings, we spoke about a lot of things, But one thing is for sure: what we speak about between us, stays between us. What I can say about that is Harry Kane is one of the best football players in the world and he’s with us, he’s our player, he’s Tottenham’s player. That can make us very proud.”
