Premier League pair Manchester City and Chelsea have been warned it will take an eye-watering £177m, six-year deal if they, or any other club, want Juventus star Paul Pogba.

The 22-year-old is tipped to leave the Turin club during the January transfer window, and is sure to attract interest from all across Europe.

Barcelona, along with the English pair, were thought to be among the favourites for his signature.

However, yesterday Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola dismissed the move.

Juventus signed Pogba on a free from Manchester United in 2012, and are sure to want to hold out for as much cash as possible.

They are rumoured to be holding out for at least £71m.

And, according to Spanish paper Sport, the fee is not including Pogba’s wage demands, though to be £17.8m per year times six, a total of £106.8m.

Even though both Chelsea and City have billionaire owners, the amount may be too much even for them.
