Postecoglou would welcome the chance to work with Jota again.
Tottenham is planning to make a winter move for Al-Ittihad attacker Jota. It could be a loan move for the player. The Portuguese will be a good addition to Spurs.
Saudi Pro League star was a vital player in Celtic when Ange Postecoglou completed a treble. He hit 11 goals and 10 assists in the 2022-23 Scottish Premiership season.
Postecoglou is now head coach of Tottenham and Jota is in his plans. Jota left Celtic Park last summer by joining the Saudi Pro League champions in a £25.2m switch.
Despite a big move, Jota failed to get games for the reigning winners. They signed Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Fabinho and Luiz Felipe. They went over their permitted quota of eight foreign players.
The former Celtic man missed out each of his side’s last six Saudi Pro League fixtures. Postecoglou would welcome the chance to work with Jota again. Tottenham will give him a loan offer in January.
Tottenham sit at the top of the table with 26 points after 10 games. They will now face Chelsea this weekend to strengthen their position.
