9. Martin Skrtel   – 5 Own Goals
Holding a record of the player to have scored the most own goals in a single season, Martin Skrtel also gets in our list with a total of 5 own goals in the English Football already to his name making it to 9th on the Top 10 Players with Most Premier League Own Goals. On 1 December 2013 he scored the only goal for his then opponents Hull City at Kingston Stadium though his club Liverpool F.C won the game and more amazingly just after six days when he scored an own goal against Hull City, Skrtel again scored an own goal in a 4-1 win for Liverpool against Newcastle United.
The Slovak professional footballer’s last own goal so far was again against Newcastle in may 2014 when his current club Liverpool where he plays as a centre-back were playing home at Anfield in their 2-1 win.Â
