The career graph of Brazilian superstar Neymar has been that of a tumultuous one.
He started off as the wonder kid in Brazil who attracted the interest of every big club in Europe. He won the Puskas while playing in the South America continent and finally Barcelona picked him up for a record fee.
He began his Catalan career rather brightly but was always under the shadow of the great Lionel Messi. He moved to PSG to become the superstar but the transfer has so far not been a hit. No major European trophy, missing in big matches and a celebrity ego problem came for the world record fee PSG paid for him. It now seems their patience with Neymar is over.
“I want players willing to give everything to defend the honour of this shirt,” the PSG president Al-Khelaifi told France Football.
“Those who do not want to be here and do not understand the project can sit down with me and we can talk.
“There are of course contracts to be respected, but the priority for us is to have players who have total dedication to the project.
“Nobody forced him to come here. Nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join this project.”
Should PSG seel Neymar, where will he go next?
