The Paul Pogba penalty fiasco is already another hot news spreading through the Premier League inside two weeks.
Manchester United were playing Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Molineaux and with the match poised at 1-1 in the second half, it was Paul Pogba who dribbled into the Wolves box and was taken down by Coady. This led to a spot kick which after much open and heated debate between Rashford and Pogba, saw Paul stand up to take the kick.
Pogba hit hard low to the left but it was brilliantly saved and thus began the drama. Pundits, fans and media has been going crazy over why Pogba, who had a terrible record already from spot kicks, stepped up to take it. Pogba currently has missed the last 4 of his 9 penalties, the worst record in the league.
It has come to the media reports that Pogba felt frustrated with his miss and later on in the dressing room, the Frenchman apologised to his team mates about the mishap and the missed penalty. Pogba was seen apoogising to the Manchester United fans after the match and it can how much he regrets that miss.
All has been forgiven by Ole and Rashford though and United are ready to move on.
