Chelsea physio could be moving across London
Chelsea physio Eva Carneiro has been backed to join Arsenal in the near future after bookmakers slashed her odds to join the North London side.
Carneiro was involved with a public falling out with Blues boss Jose Mourinho during their opening day draw with Swansea, and has yet to return to the bench following the incident.
It happened after Eden Hazard was injured on the pitch and Carneiro ran on to treat the Belgian, which infuriated Mourinho as it meant Hazard would have to come off to the pitch and leave his side temporarily with nine-men on the pitch.
And since then she hasn’t worked from the bench at a game for Chelsea, which has lead to rumours of her leaving her position at the club.
Carneiro to Arsenal
Arsene Wenger publicly announced his support for Carneiro after the incident in August, leading to bookmakers slashing her odds of joining from 25/1 to 16/1.
However, at 10/1 it’s Zenit St Petersburg who are the favourites to land the medic, who was brought to Chelsea by current Zenit and former Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas.
