Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been handed a transfer boost for the potential signing of Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao.
Madrid are set to off-load the Portuguese defender, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Spanish side in recent weeks.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti is willing to let Coentrao depart in the summer, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all reportedly keen on the defender.
United remain the favourites to land the player, having had bids turned down in previous years for the player.
Offers for Coentrao from the three Premier League sides are set to come in swiftly, with Madrid to let him leave for around £20 million in the summer window, to raise funds.
Aside from English eyes, Turkish sides Galatasaray and Besiktas, as well as Italian teams, are also interested.
