Turkish side ready to make formal move for Chelsea star

Fenerbache are set to launch a formal move for Chelsea midfielder Ramires after seemingly wrapping up a deal for Robin Van Persie.

The Turkish club have been raiding a number of Premier League stars and are looking to Ramires to their improving side.

Fenerbahce were thought to be interested in signing John Obi Mikel but reports now claim they are now turning their attention Chelsea team mate Ramires.

With Ramires still unable to sign a new deal with Chelsea, the 28 year-old could be tempted into a move to Turkey.

Mikel on the other hand could be looking for a way out of Stamford Bridge after seemingly becoming surplus to requirements, with the Nigerian holding talks with United Arab Emirates side Al Ain.

Plus Jose Mourinho may be more inclined to hold onto Ramires than Mikel with the emergence of young Ruben Loftus-Cheek who featured for the Blues towards the end of their campaign.

Ramires featured 23 times for Chelsea last season as they ran away with the Premier League title and if the Brazilian were to make a move, the Blues would be looking to recoup at least the ÂŁ8m Carlo Ancelotti paid for him in 2010.
