Chelsea striker Fernando Torres could finally be on his way out of Stamford Bridge as the club look to agree a player-swap deal with Italian side AS Roma.
The Blues are keen to see the Spaniard leave the club this Summer, and have enquired with Roma about a potential player-swap deal, involving their forward, Mattia Destro.
The Italian striker has been strongly linked with a move away from Roma, with Tottenham Hotspur interested, but it looks like Chelsea are ready to do business with them by offering them flop, Torres, as part of the deal.
Destro is reportedly worth around £20million, and Chelsea believe a straight swap with Torres would be enough for the deal to go through.
Despite Chelsea spending £50m on Torres, they are ready and willing to take a huge-hit on him due to his failures at the club, and Jose Mourinho is keen to swap him with Destro, who is highly rated in Italian football.
