To cut a long story short, Anders Lindegaard has never been given a proper chance at Manchester United; and to be honest he probably never will.
Even with David De Gea potentially leaving for Real Madrid, the Danish goalkeeper still won’t get his opportunity. United have signed a ready-made replacement for De Gea in the shape of Victor Valdes.
The reason Lindegaard should leave Old Trafford is simply to play games. For a 31-year old shot-stopper to have only made 95 appearances throughout his whole career, that is rather worrying.
