Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he doesn’t envy Manchester City or the pressure that Manuel Pellegrini has to work under at the Etihad Stadium.

City are one of the richest football clubs in European football after their takeover a couple of years ago and they can also boast one of the strongest teams in European football as well, but Wenger is adamant that he doesn’t envy what they have at their disposal.

Wenger takes his side to the Etihad tomorrow knowing that it will be a tricky affair with City seemingly unbeatable at home, but he has admitted that he is happy with his squad and wouldn’t want to be in Pellegrini’s shoes.

“City do have a very strong squad but when I look at my squad I don’t envy them.

“If we win then City will be nine points behind. So they have a negative pressure, whereas we have a positive pressure.”
