Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye has spoke of his desire to play for Manchester United.
Gueye, 25, was targeted by Arsenal last summer, but a move to the Emirates Stadium was never completed.
It is currently unclear whether United are interested.
The news was revealed on twitter by Ligue 1 Show host Matt Spiro.
He tweeted: Lille’s Idrissa Gueye tells @Margot_Dumont: “Joining #MUFC would be a dream. I’ve always supported them. I adore them.’
The Senegalese international may be a useful addition to the Old Trafford ranks, and manager Louis Van Gaal is rumoured to be seeking additions in his quest to turn the club’s fortunes around.
Gueye is under contract at Lille until 2018, and may be available for £5m.
