Imposters Try and Hijack Herrera Deal

Reports are coming in that some imposters claiming to be representatives of Manchester United were pictures at La Liga offices in Madrid all to do with the Ander Herrera deal.

It looked like Herrera was a United player about to sign a 5 year deal with the club from Athletico Bilbao before Spanish media confirmed that a move had fallen through.

Spanish football writer Andy West in an odd development has reported that a large group of men in black suits claimed to be Manchester United representatives butwere actually nothing to do with the club. they were pictures coming out of the La Liga offices.

West said, “Some bizarre reports coming out regarding United’s collapsed Herrera deal. Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.”

“Must be stressed these are just rumours but the Spanish media (AS) have published pictures of men in black suits – supposedly the United ‘representatives’ – coming out of the league offices carrying briefcases.’

“All very strange and no doubt the truth will come out in the next few days.”
