Arsenal star set to find out fate in two weeks time
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere could need surgery on his leg after suffering a further setback in his recovery.
The England international will find out in the next fortnight whether he needs surgery or not on a leg fracture that has kept him out of action in recent weeks.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger expected to have Wilshere back for the Stoke City game yesterday, but he confirmed midweek that there was a setback in the recovery and it’s now unknown when the midfielder will return.
Two Week Plan
The Gunners will give Wilshere a couple of weeks to see how he recovers, but there could be need for surgery which would sideline the 23-year-old for more months.
If surgery is needed, the midfielder would go to a specialist which could see him have a metal plate inserted into his leg.
It’s believed that if that procedure is done, Wilshere will be out for at least six weeks.
