Manchester United striker, Javier Hernandez, is keen on making his loan move to Real Madrid a permanent one next Summer.

The Mexican international is currently on a season-long loan at the Bernabeu after being told he can leave by Louis Van Gaal, and ‘Chicarito’ as he is know, is keen on making his temporary move a permanent one.

Despite only playing four times for Madrid, Hernandez has already netted three times, and with United keen on keeping Radamel Falcao on a permanent deal, it’s believed that the Premier League side will be willing to sell the 26-year-old.

In a recent interview, Hernandez stated his desire is to remain in Spain with the European Champions.

“They thought I couldn’t help any more at United so we decided by mutual agreement that I would leave,” Hernandez said.

“It was difficult, although I had offers from other teams, but when I got the opportunity to come to Real Madrid I didn’t hesitate.

“It was the toughest challenge and the one that gave me the least chances [of first team football], but these are the challenges I like and the ones I’ve worked for all my life.

“I dreamed of being here. I have the talent and I’ll work hard to show I belong at such a great institution.

“I hope some positive things happen, both to the club and myself.”
