Jordan Henderson has been impressed with Liverpool’s attacking players this year so far and has been quick to praise his teammates on their performances.
Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League and they have caught the eye of many fans this year for their attacking play and the way that they have managed to compete so far this season.
Sadio Mane has been banging in the goals on a regular basis since his move from Southampton, while Firmino has also chipped in with goals and assists. Phillipe Coutinho has been one of Liverpool’s best over the last few seasons and has shown no signs of slowing down.
Contributed to over half of the team’s goals
Henderson believes it is their work-rate and tireless performances and goals that have taken the Reds to the top of the league table so far.
They have scored 16 goals between them in 11 Premier League games so far this season and have contributed to over half of all the goals the Reds have scored in the Prem so far this campaign.
The midfielder has been that impressed with their displays that he labelled the trio as ‘world-class’ and claimed that they are ‘unstoppable’ when going forward.
He’ll be hoping that they continue to play as well as they have been for the rest of the season, as they bid to finally win a Premier League trophy.
