Reports claim former-Chelsea boss has already agreed to take over from Louis van Gaal

Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed to take over from Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.

The Portuguese was sacked by Chelsea Football Club on Thursday afternoon following a dreadful run of results, which left the club one point above the relegation zone after 16 games.

Since being sacked, Mourinho has been linked with AS Monaco and AS Roma, but according to reports, United is the job he wants and he’s desperate to replace under-fire Van Gaal.

Van Gaal Under Pressure

A 2-1 home loss to Norwich City put more pressure on the Dutchman over the weekend, and now reports across Europe are claiming Mourinho is in line to replace him.

Van Gaal has reportedly got two games to save his job, with Stoke City and Chelsea coming up, and if results don’t improve, he is likely to lose his role at Old Trafford and be replaced by Mourinho.

Reports in Spain claim that Mourinho has already agreed a five-year deal at United.
