Jose Mourinho says he is not confident of deadline day signings

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says that he is not confident about making a signing on the deadline day which is today. United desperately want to sign a defender before the transfer window closes. Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire and Jerome Boateng all are possible options for the Red Devils.

Mourinho said, “The market closes today. It is time for me to stop thinking about the market. I am not confident. I have to focus on the players I have and the next few matches.”

The Portuguese said that he is hoping that his World Cup players is available. Paul Pogba. Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young and Marouane Fellaini have already returned to training.

Mourinho said, “The ones who played late in the World Cup trained Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, today. They are not fit and ready but we have needs. Today I will speak with them to see how available they feel they are.”
