Jose Mourinho slams FA for Wenger row

According to Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, if it was he who pushed Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, the FA would have banned him.

The two came to blows on the sidelines during the Chelsea-Arsenal game at Stamford Bridge, and with Wenger furious at a Gary Cahill tackle, he decided to go and see if his player was alright after the crunching tackle.

However, Mourinho didn’t like that and ordered Wenger back to his technical area, which resulted in the Frenchman pushing The Blues boss away.

Neither were fined or banned for their actions, but Mourinho believes if it was he who pushed, the FA would have punished him.

‘I’d have been banned for what Arsene Wenger did to me,’ claimed the Chelsea boss.

‘I gave you my reaction after the match, saying nothing had happened. The reaction from everyone else was saying nothing had happened.

‘Am I surprised he wasn’t punished? I’m not surprised. I’m not surprised.

‘Charged? Charged? If it was me, it would have been a stadium ban!’
