Chelsea prepared to take £5million hit on winger
Chelsea are preparing to sell January signing Juan Cuadrado already and could take a £5million loss on the winger.
The Blues splashed out £23m when they signed the Colombian from Fiorentina halfway through last season, but after failing to impress during his brief time at Stamford Bridge, he’s in danger of being sold.
Cuadrado make four Premier League starts and 10 appearances from the substitute bench, but he failed to impress in any matches and has lead Jose Mourinho to thinking about selling him.
According to reports this morning, Mourinho is ready to take a £5m loss on the winger and could sell him for just £18m.
The 27-year-old had an impressive World Cup with Colombia and then continued his good form into the Serie A with Fiorentina.
However, he has failed to adapt to the Premier League and will not be given more time to settle by Mourinho.
Serie A champions Juventus are interested in bringing the winger back to Italy, but only on a season-long loan.
Cuadrado is expected to join Mohamed Salah out of the door in West London following dismal careers at The Bridge.
