Liverpool boss wants reunion with Galatasaray star
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is eyeing a reunion with one Borussia Dortmund star, but it’s not who people might have thought.
The likes of Marco Reus, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mats Hummels have all been linked with moves to Anfield, but it’s Kevin Grosskreutz who Klopp is eager to land first.
Grosskreutz doesn’t actually play for Dortmund anymore, as he now lines up for Turkish side Galatasaray, but he’s not enjoying life in the Super Lig and Klopp is ready to rescue his career.
The 27-year-old joined the Turkish outfit over the summer, but due to paperwork not being finalised properly, he hasn’t been able to play for them and now has no idea where his future lies.
The winger is desperate to leave Turkey and would be more than interested in having a reunion with Klopp in Merseyside.
According to reports, Klopp is ready to make the versatile star his first signing as Liverpool boss.
