Juventus ‘confident’ of signing Gunners defender Hector Bellerin this summer.
Juventus Keeping Tabs as Arsenal Reportedly Ready to Sell £50 Million-Rated Hector Bellerin.
Bellerin has been strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer. The Spaniard is one of the Gunners’ key first-team players but has struggled for form this season. The 22-year-old has been criticised by fans for his performances this season, and also came under fire after he appeared to condemn popular YouTube channel Arsenal Fan TV during a live Q&A at the Oxford Union.
Bellerin was linked with a return to Barcelona, where he came through the youth ranks, last season but the Gunners refused to sell the youngster. Barcelona have since ended their interest in signing the former La Masia academy player.
Arsenal are reportedly believed to be ready to let right-back Hector Bellerin move on in the summer for a fee close to £50 million. The Gunners would be looking to use the money obtained from his sale to rebuild their squad.
Due to the contract he signed in the 2016/17 season, Bellerin currently has a high market value and is viewed as an attractive proposition by many top European clubs. Juventus are said to be leading the chase for the Arsenal man.
