Kalvin Phillips is expected to force an exit in the January transfer window.

The England international has made only one start this season- in the Carabao Cup defeat against Newcastle United.

Phillips moved to Man City last summer in a deal worth ÂŁ42million but he has endured a difficult 15-month campaign so far.

He has recently been offered to Juventus as the Bianconeri need a new midfielder to address their midfield issues.

Nicolo Fagioli was recently handed a seventh-month ban whereas Paul Pogba faces a lengthy ban for testing positive for non-endogenous testosterone.

The French midfielder could likely be handed a four-year ban from football.

Phillips still has five years remaining on his contract and faces an uncertain future with the Cityzens.

According to reports, the Juventus board are unsure whether the 27-year-old is a suitable player for their side.

Even if a move to Turin collapses, the former Leeds United midfielder is expected to depart this January to gain regular playing time.

The likes of Rodri, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes and Bernardo Silva are all above him in the pecking order and he would minutes hard to come by.
