Liverpool eye Klopp as Rodgers’ successor

Liverpool have turned their attentions to Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp, as pressure grows on current boss Brendan Rodgers.

Klopp, who has already previously ruled out a move to manage Arsenal in the future, has made it clear that he intends to manage in the Premier League once the opportunity arises.

And now it is understood that the Reds are keen on making the Dortmund manager the active boss as soon as next season, with Rodgers’ future currently in the balance.

Liverpool owners are growing in frustration and concern with Rodgers over recent results, and over his signings in the summer transfer window.

But however, it is likely that the current manager will get until the end of the season to prove his worth, with Klopp waiting in the wings to take reigns at Anfield.
