Liverpool are monitoring West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old is being closely monitored by Jurgen Klopp and his scouting staff after being impressed by the midfielder’s displays for the Hammers this term, claim The Sun.
Liverpool want to bolster their options for a holding midfield player but the report suggests that the Reds would need to offer at least £18million to bring him to Anfield.
Obiang, who signed from Serie A side Sampdoria back in 2015, still has two years left on his current deal at the London Stadium and West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is keen to offer him an extension.
Klopp and his coaching staff will continue to scout Obiang until the end of the season ahead of a possible switch in the summer transfer window.
