After revealing on twitter that he would not be renewing his contract with Chelsea, left-back Ashley Cole as been offered a revival at Spanish club Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants have already offered the retired England international a staggering ÂŁ10 million pound contract for two years service at the club, as it seems Madrid are desperate to sign Cole after being linked with the player many times in the past.

Cole has always dreamt of playing in Spain, and it seems that Madrid are currently offering the most deluxe package, after heavy interest from the likes of Inter Milan, Monaco and Manchester City.

The left-back was only offered a one year contract extension at Chelsea, but felt his time was up at Stamford Bridge and is seeking pastures new elsewhere.

Former Chelsea boss, Carlo Ancelotti is willing to offer Cole a new lease of life, after forming a close bond with the player at his time at Stamford Bridge. The club are said to see Cole as a proven international with the experience to compete at the highest levels in competitions such as the Champions League.
