According to reports, Manchester United Football Club are interested in making Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti their new boss IF David Moyes does end up getting sacked.
The Red Devils have had a dismal campaign under Moyes and look all-but certain to end trophyless and out of this season’s top-four, unless they can produce the shock of the season by winning the Champions League.
Moyes, who seems to have split the fans support, has admitted throughout the season that the job is tougher then he thought, and with Champions League football set to leave Old Trafford, Moyes could be departing too once the campaign ends.
It is believed that the United board are heavily considering the Scot’s future and it’s reported that if he does end up leaving, former-Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, would be high up on their wishlist.
Two back-to-back defeats in La Liga have damaged Madrid’s title-hopes and with a crucial fixture with Borussia Dortmund just around the corner, Ancelotti’s future could in doubt come the end of the season as well.
Alongside Ancelotti as a potential Moyes replacement is Dortmund’s Jurgen Klopp and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone.
