‘Manchester United are in the title-race’, says Mourinho

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has insisted that Manchester United are still in the title-race.

The Blues boss was talking in his weekend press conference and was asked about the title-race and who he sees as genuine contenders in this year’s race for the Premier League trophy.

Despite their impressive start to the new campaign, Mourinho has insisted that it’s not a one-horse race, and he firmly believes Manchester United and Manchester City are still in the race.

He said: “Theres a long time to go.

“Everybody that wants to be involved is involved.

“Not even 50 per cent of the league is played so obviously people with less than 10 points difference are very much in the title race.”

Mourinho then confirmed that Arsene Wenger’s, Arsenal, could also be considered in the race as well.

He added:“People with a bit more than 10, they still can be.”
