Manchester United are plotting a late move for Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado, and plan to offer Adnan Januzaj on loan as a way of pulling ahead of Chelsea in negotiations.
PSG have had a move for the Kosovo-born Belgian international blocked by Louis Van Gaal, with Januzaj’s agent saying that Van Gaal considers his client as “an important player for squad.”
However, should a temporary move for Januzaj to La Viola swing the pendulum in the Red Devils’ favour, Van Gaal may have to reconsider his firm stance on the 19-year-old’s position.
Chelsea were rumoured to be in pole position for Cuadrado’s signature, but Fiorentina have stalled negotiations by holding out for the 26-year-old’s release clause, believed to be ÂŁ27m.
