Will he be leaving?
Wayne Rooney has been offered £600,000 per week to move to China and play for Chinese Super League (CSL) side Shanghai Shenhua.
Rooney has struggling to stay in United’s Starting XI this season under manager Jose Mourinho, and could be tempted by the big money being offered in Asia.
Ex-United star Carloz Tevez has already completed a move out there this month, as has ex-Chelsea midfielder Oscar.
Mourinho admitted on Monday that he would not block Rooney from leaving United if that is what he wishes to do.
Gus Poyet’s side also boasts more ex-Premier League players, such as Demba Ba and Obafemi Martins.
Shanghai Shenua are also sitting pretty in fourth in the CSL table, although they’ll have to work hard to close the gap on Guangzhou Evergrande who they trail by 16 points.
