Manchester United will reportedly offer as much as £120million in order to sign Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale.
The Welshman, who signed for the Spanish giants for a transfer record of £85m, has been a real hit at the Bernabeu over the past two seasons, scoring in the Copa Del Rey final and also the Champions League final, but due to an injury, his first-team place was taken by Isco, who then put in several high quality performances.
Despite the competition for places, Bale is still in favour under Carlo Ancelotti and is not eyeing a move back to England, but according to reports, United will try and persuade Madrid to sell by offering them up to £120m.
Louis Van Gaal has already been told by United officials that he will have unlimited funds yet again in the Summer, and high on his list is Bale, despite already having a wealth of attacking options.
Bale has also been linked with Chelsea, but it’s understood they would not be prepared to enter a bidding war with their English rivals.
