Manchester United have already found a suitable replacement for David De Gea, if the Spaniard does choose to leave the club over the Summer.

The Red Devils number-one has caught the eye of Real Madrid, and rumours are high that they will launch a formal move for the Spaniard at the end of the season, with De Gea potentially interested in playing in his homeland.

De Gea has been the stand-out performer for Louis Van Gaal so far this season, but with Real Madrid interested, a move away could be on the cards, despite United’s return to form which should see them in next year’s Champions League.

Reports broke yesterday that United have signed Victor Valdes on an 18-month deal, and it’s believed Van Gaal wants a reunion with Dutch stopper, Tim Krul, if De Gea does choose to leave.

Krul has been one of the Premier League’s most consistent performers since his arrival at St James Park, and after working with Van Gaal during his Netherlands days, the duo have a good working relationship.
