Marcelo has insisted he wants to leave Real Madrid next summer.
The player has been closely linked out of Santiago Bernabeu since the last summer.
Real Madrid defensive ace Marcelo has insisted that he wants to leave the club next summer with his most probable destination being Juventus. The player has been closely linked with a move to the Serie A club since the last summer transfer window following the departure of the former Real Madrid talisman and his close friend Cristiano Ronaldo to the reigning Serie A champions.
However, when asked by the media whether he wants to leave the club or not just a few days ago, the Brazilian left-back said that he wants to end his career at Real Madrid. He dismissed the speculations linking with a move to Juventus saying they are “nonsense” and said, “I am very happy in Madrid, people know that it is my home. I still have many years left on my contract and I am very happy here. I’ve seen a lot of nonsense, but as I said, I’m excited like Vinicius, as if I were 18… I will stay here until the end.”
The player has, however, fallen in the pecking order under current manager Santiago Solari, who has used young Spaniard Sergio Reguilon in his place on a number of occasions, reigniting the speculations of him leaving the club for more first-team opportunities in the future.
