Arsenal Summer signing Mesut Ozil has revealed how happy he is with life in London, especially because he is with German team-mates Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski.
The former-Real Madrid star joined The Gunners on transfer deadline day for £43million and has been a huge-success at the Emirates Stadium already, scoring goals and grabbing assists as well.
Ozil has settled into the Arsenal midfielder very well so far this season, and he has also settled into his new lifestyle in England as well, but he is still yet to fully grasp the language as in a recent interview, he spoke in German, but he did admit how happy he was in London.
“They [my team-mates] have helped me.” said Ozil.
“It’s good to have people I know here.
“I have settled in really well. I have a house in London and I am enjoying living here.”
As for Mertesacker, he has also admitted that he is still loving London life.
“I’ve watched tennis at the O2 and the NBA also comes here. It’s really exciting to live here and enjoy the life.
“We haven’t been to a cricket match so far, so that’s one of our targets for next year.”
