Guardiola recently claimed that he was offered Pogba

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola recently caused a stir when he claimed that Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola offered the midfielder to him in the January transfer window.

Pep has hit back at the super-agent in remarkable fashion. When asked specifically about Raiola and his insults, the City boss took his opportunity to fire back by claiming that the super-agent has offered him both Pogba and Mkhitaryan earlier in the January.

Earlier, Raiola had branded Guardiola a “dog” and a “coward” following Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s move from Manchester United to LA Galaxy at the end of March, harking back to the Catalan’s treatment of the Sweden striker during their time together at Barcelona.

Although Raiola has denied Pep’s claim about offering Pogba to him and claims that the has not made any contact with him:

“I never spoke to Pep Guardiola. I would not speak to him about players; I would speak to Manchester City,” Raiola explained to the  BBC .

“They are a fantastic club with a fantastic manager.”

Paul Pogba has struggled this season since he came back from the injury and there was even reports that the midfielder will leave this summer after just 18 months in England. Though the Frenchman has claimed this week that he is happy at Manchester United and has no problem with Jose Mourinho. He admitted that sitting in the bench was a new experience for him but he will benefit from it.
