The midfielder could feature for the Red Devils against Man City

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is fit and ready for the Manchester Derby, despite picking up a knock on international duty.

The midfielder hasn’t started many games for Man United yet this season, with several other players keeping him out of the side. However, after coming on and impressing against Hull, he could be in line for a potential start against Man City tomorrow.

He did go on international duty with Armenia last week and while there, he picked up an injury on his thigh. But, after having it checked, Jose Mourinho has claimed that the player is fit and will be available for selection tomorrow.

Shaw and Valencia also fit

Mkhitaryan then could get a start against Man City and, if he does, he will be keen to make an impression to try and cement a regular first-team spot. Even if he doesn’t start from the off though, as has been the case over the last few games, he will likely make an appearance from off the bench.

Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia were also believed to have slight knocks but they too appear to be fit and ready for the Manchester Derby on Saturday.
