Southampton may face losing Morgan Schneiderlin in the Winter window with four teams all interestd in the midfielder, according to Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville.
The Frenchman has been pivotal in the heart of the midfield for Ronald Koeman’s side this season, and it came as no surprise that The Saints’ dip in form came when the midfielder was out injured.
However, his performances from last season and now this season have caught the eye of four Premier League clubs, and Neville predicts all four of them will go back in for the 25-year-old in the New Year.
Neville thinks Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will all make moves for the £25m-rated midfielder once the transfer window opens up.
“I think Schneiderlin is the man at Southampton,” he said.
“If he comes out they drop.
“They are going to get absolutely bombarded in January.
“Liverpool will look at him, Arsenal will look at him, United are looking at holding midfield players. Tottenham, with [Mauricio] Pochettino (who used to manage Schneiderlin at Southampton.
“There’s four clubs I’ve named that all might fancy Schneiderlin.
“I think he’s one of the best performing midfield players in the league.”
