Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho hopes to complete Fabregas’ move to Stamford Bridge by Friday, along with Diego Costa.
The manager is confident the deals can be secured before Spain’s first group match vs the Netherlands on Friday, where Fabregas and Costa are likely to feature.
Jose hopes these two marquee signing will help Chelsea lift the Premier League title next season, which Mourinho is desperate to retain.
Both moves look likely to happen, with Barcelona and Spain teammate Gerard Pique being overheard in a conversation he had with the Spanish manager Vincente Del Bosque, saying “He (Cesc) told me it’s all done. He’s going,£33 million he told me”
Costa was also questioned whether he would be on the move to Chelsea, he replied “It looks like it”.
