Brazilian reveals who he wants as next permanent boss

Chelsea star Oscar has admitted he wants Guus Hiddink to stay on as manager for next season.

The Dutchman is currently the interim-manager at Stamford Bridge, taking over from Jose Mourinho back in December following the Portuguese’s dismissal.

Despite Hiddink stating that he will only take the role on a temporary basis, Oscar is desperate for him to change his mind and become the permanent boss of the club.

Oscar Wants Hiddink

The Brazilian said: ‘Based on how well Guus has been doing so far he could very well stay.

‘We’ve been playing very well as a team. Confidence is up and the whole club is happy at the moment.

‘Since he’s a popular figure, there’s a good chance he’ll stay.

‘He’s a very nice guy, very smiley and always looking to create a positive and happy environment.

‘He has a very positive influence here and we’ve been playing well. We’ve had a lot of draws in that time but overall, in the Premier League, things have been going a lot better and it has given a huge boost of confidence to all the players.

‘And also for me on a personal level because I’m playing much better.

‘He said all the things we wanted to hear as players which was to get back to winning ways and playing much better football like we were doing so last season.’

Despite Oscar’s plea, it looks unlikely that Hiddink will stay on past this season, with Diego Simeone, Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri the three consistently linked with taking the job.
