Paul Pogba might have drawn criticism for his inconsistency in a Manchester United shirt but the French midfielder has been scoring goals for fun it seems. The French midfielder scored a brace and assisted another as United cruised to a 3-0 win over Young Boys in the Champions League.

The French midfielder broke the deadlock with a delightful individual effort. He then netted his second of the evening from the spot. The midfielder has often been criticized for his lacklustre display for the Red Devils but this season he has already made a statement by scoring four goals in six matches in all competition.

The midfielder produced a wonderful display as he helped the team driving forward against the Swiss side. Luke Shaw earned the penalty as his cross hit the arm of an opponent defender.

Pogba saw his penalty saved by Joe Hart in the Burnley match but the 25 year old who was also wearing armband decided to give it a shot He later revealed Jose Mourinho assigned him the penalty duty. “I didn’t have any doubts about taking the penalty. I know I missed that one against Burnley.

“Joe Hart got me that time but I won’t make the same mistake.

“I had the confidence of the players, they let me take it and I should thank them for this, as well as the manager – he let me take it as well.”
